Asset Management & Governance

Monitor and control asset usage across the enterprise to meet brand guidelines and
Comply with digital copyright requirements. In the content creation workflow, you can select the content and
Automate asset delivery to reduce time to launch.

Digital asset management

You can set user role permissions to allow users to access the assets they want. Users can see the asset expiration date and set rules to restrict access until the asset is approved.

    • Timely delivery. You can manage the use of assets by determining when specific assets are accessible or searchable. This allows you to publish assets in a timely manner and restrict access to them when their life has expired.
    • Granular permission settings. Control user and team permissions by asset, folder, and license type. You can also control permissions for specific assets in your DAM or Content Hub.

Asset Governance

It ensures brand integrity, complies with licensing requirements, and avoids various legal issues that may arise from using unlicensed, unauthorized, or expired assets.

    • Digital Copyright Management. Watermarks, content credentials, and legal compliance workflows help prevent misconduct and legal disputes that can arise from incorrect content usage.
    • Asset expiration. You can set up DAM to automatically delete expired assets so that they cannot be retrieved or used.
    • Asset status. You can view, search, and monitor the status of your assets, and approve or deny access. DAM administrators can restrict access to content until a specified release date, and can set up auto-publishing or unpublishing.

Asset Integrity

Version control and duplicate detection tools help reduce clutter and maintain asset integrity in your DAM. By changing the metadata of an asset, you can implement custom workflows.

    • Custom workflows. You can customize creative and authoring workflows in Experience Manager Assets to automatically assign the right tasks to your users.
    • My workspaces. Customize the interface to easily access areas in Experience Manager Assets that are relevant to your day-to-day work. In My Workspace, you can view asset insights, collections, and tasks, and review workflows.
    • Version control. You can easily track edits, compare versions, and revert to previous versions of assets if necessary.
    • Duplicate detection. Automatically identify duplicate assets to ensure all team members are using the right version.
    • API interface. Developers can directly access and modify content fragments, such as metadata, variant versions, and annotations.
    • Brand-specific tagging. Context-based GenAI metadata tagging that is highly relevant to your product and brand makes it easy to discover assets and enrich metadata. You don't have to manually tag every asset in DAM. You can convert visual text from assets, such as product information, brand name, title description, UPC code, SKU, etc., into searchable metadata tags. You can also use automatic translation to search for tags in different languages from different regions.
